Cookie cake – Decoration ideas

Cookie cakes are great and best of all simple and yummy to put together. You can either make the cookie dough yourself or just buy some pre-made large cookies from your local store depending on what kind of cake you would like to put together. Decorating individual cookies is a nice idea and great fun for kids to get involved in the cake decoration process too, you can get some different icing fillers for them and they can have a go creating there own special cookie cake, perhaps with their name or attempt drawing one of their favorite movie and TV characters.

Cookie based cheese cakes are a worth a try too but may take some experimenting and be sure to get the right combination such as white chocolate or milk/dark chocolate incorporated as a suggestion, for a simple a quick idea you can make some nice cupcakes and either add a cookie onto the top and/or crush some cookie parts across the top of the icing.
