Jaffa Cakes – Decoration Ideas

Jaffa cakes have been around since 1927 and created by Mcvitie and Price, they have always been very popular by all ages and make a great theme or decoration for your birthday cake. You can actually already buy the Mcvitie large Jaffa cake from large supermarkets that comes in a nice decorated box. If you are thinking of making your own jaffa cakes cake then there are lots of ways of doing some, you can either make a giant Jaffa cake by using lots of the ingredients so you are left with a massive version of the cake for your friends and family.

The other options are to add them as a decoration on the top of the cake with some chocolate or even inside of the cakes, this works well with cupcakes too – you can add a jaffa cake on the top of the cake or even half of one depending on the size. You can also make really nice cookie style cakes by just building on the original size one and adding a chocolate coating on the top, some cream and a base on the bottom part to make it more interesting.
